Public hunting facilities in Hall County include the Cornhusker Wildlife Management Area, Loch Linda Wayside Management Area, Wood River Wayside Management Area and Hannon WPA.

Located just 7 miles from the hotel, Heartland Public Shooting Range is a controlled 420–acre sport shooting facility featuring skeet, sporting clay, trap, rifle and pistol ranges, as well as registered targets, instruction/shooting clinics, ammunition, loaner shotguns, and sanctioned retriever trials.
